Problem
Video images played back in Evidence Library that come from a VISTA are blurry or otherwise distorted.

- Clean the lens
- Check the lens for obstructions
- Reboot the VISTA
- Make sure the VISTA is on the latest firmware
- Replace the VISTA
Details
- Clean the lens
- Use a lens-cleaning solution and a lens-cleaning cloth to carefully clean the lens on the VISTA
- Check the lens for obstructions
- See if there is any debris inside the lens itself
- Reboot the VISTA
- Press the Power button on the bottom of the VISTA twice to power off the unit
- Press the Power button again to turn it back on
- During the boot process, the firmware version will be displayed briefly on the VISTA; compare this to the latest version listed on the Download page
- After each of the steps above, test the VISTA camera
- Record a test video (at least 30 seconds long)
- Upload that video to Evidence Library
- Review the test video
- If these steps don't clear the image, call Customer Support to discuss replacing the VISTA camera
