Problem
When a valid evaluation or purchased license key is entered, REDACTIVE shows a message that it cannot reach the activation server.
Symptom(s)
Clicking the ACTIVATE
button after typing a serial number, you see this message:
Activation failed (server unreachable)
Solution
Summary
- Try to connect to the activation server
- Contact Sales to obtain a new license key
Details
- Verify that the workstation running REDACTIVE is connected to the network and the Internet
- If the workstation does not have access to the Internet, contact WatchGuard Sales to obtain an offline license key
- In a browser, try to browse to https://www.officerlicenses.com/login
- If that site is unreachable, it's possible that there is a proxy server through which the workstation accesses the Internet
- Contact WatchGuard Sales to obtain an offline license key
