PoE Adapter
The WatchGuard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Adapter supplies power to the wireless radio via the ethernet cable.
This device has:
- 1 RJ45 port for the wireless radio - 12 Volts
- 1 RJ45 port for the DVR
This device uses the brown and orange wires for power.
PoE Switch
The WatchGuard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Switch supplies power to the wireless radio via the ethernet cable and provides additional ports to connect a laptop or other networked devices.
This device has:
- 1 RJ45 port for the wireless radio - 12 Volts
- 1 RJ45 port for the DVR
- 1 RJ45 port for a laptop
- 2 RJ45 ports as spare ports
This device uses the brown and orange wires for power.
Smart Power Switch
The WatchGuard Smart Power Switch (SPS) provides power and network connectivity to VISTA WiFi docks. There is also an Ethernet port provided to connect a laptop or other networked device.
This device has:
- 1 RJ45 port for the DVR
- 1 RJ45 port for Ethernet (laptop)
- 1 PWR SENSE connector (not used)
- 1 +12 VDC connector for power
- 1 EXT INPUT connector (not used)
- 2 RJ50 ports for VISTA WiFi bases
