Problem
A username was created incorrectly in the system.
NOTE: If using Active Directory, the username is part of the network user account and is not administered on the Evidence Library server.
Solution
Summary
Correct the username in the Users for Evidence Library.
Details
- Log into the Evidence Library server
- Identify the username to correct
- In Windows, click Start
- Start typing
ADSI Edit
and select it from the search results - In the Menu, select Actions > Connect To...
- Connection Point:
CN=EvidenceLibrary
- Computer:
localhost
- Click OK
- Connection Point:
- Double-Click 'Default naming context...'
- Double-Click 'CN=EvidenceLibrary'
- Click 'CN=Users' to open it in the middle pane
- Double-Click on the user account
- In the user Properties window that opens:
- Find and Double-Click userPrincipalName
- Make the correction to the username
- Click OK
- Find and Double-Click userPrincipalName
- Open Services
- Press Win+r
- Type
services.msc
- Click OK
- Find and restart
- WatchGuard Video Hosted Service
- WatchGuard Video Security Token Service
- Log into Evidence Library using the new username
