Applies to Software/Firmware Version(s): 3.x, 4.x
Objective
If a “Record After the Fact” event (RATF) is created and then uploaded to Evidence Library, it will look just like any other event. However if someone would like to know if it was initiated as a RATF event, there are a couple ways to know.
There are 2 ways to check, however the second method always works.
Procedure
One way is to look for multiple streams of the front camera. i.e. Front Camera HD and Front Camera SD. This is not always a guarantee, as the HD version of the video may have aged off the 4RE already.
The second way to is to check the “Event XML” file. In this XML, located in the final storage location, look for a value called “WillKeepBothStreams”. If that value is there, the event was initiated by a RATF selection.
